Thanks Francis. I have been attending Burgundy since 1985. The first time I went there by bike from Milan to meet the monks of Cluny... who had not been there for two centuries. I took this photo in one of the places I love the most, the village of Massy, a few kilometers northwest of Cluny. Yes, follow the road to Salornay, then after a while turn right into a beautiful valley. In Massy there is a Romanesque church of the XI s. with a beautiful bell tower (I will put some photos), this house is a castle. A few kilometers further west there is another village, a little larger. Also there a Romanesque church well known to enthusiasts. I was in Burgundy the last time in 2020, alone, to photograph (10 h a day for a week), I hope to return in the spring. I toured the South of France, the Loire, Auvergne a lot, hunting for Romanesque. Grazie Francesco. |

thanks for your comprehensive comment.. a visa where massy is a municipality of only 60 inhabitants in the middle between Macon and chalon sur Saone.. I don't think I was there, but on my trip to Burgundy in 2011 I arrived at dawn in the maconaise region and you will wander through valleys and farms in the middle of the famous Charolais.. wonderful emotions .. my biggest compliments for the 10 days alone photograph! grazie per il tuo esauriente commento..un visto dove è Massy un comune di soli 60 abitanti in mezzo tra Macon e chalon sur Saone..io non penso di essere stato proprio li, ma nel mio viaggio in Borgogna nel 2011 arrivai all'alba nella regione del maconaise e girrai per vallate e fattorie in mezzo alle famose Charolais..stupende emozioni..i miei piu grandi complimenti per i 10 giorni da solo fotografare! |
