La chiesetta campestre di San Quirico è ubicata sulla collina a nord di Treville, piccolo borgo di trecento anime del Monferrato casalese. E' una delle poche testimonianze ancora esistenti nel basso Monferrato dell'architettura romanica del XII secolo e dello spirito religioso medievale. Nell'abside rimangono tenui tracce degli affreschi originali, presumibilmente raffiguranti le sembianze del Santo. Intorno a questa pieve, salvata più volte dai trevillesi dalla rovina e dall'abbandono, sorgeva, in tempi antichi, il villaggio di Arliate, ora completamente scomparso, considerato il più antico nucleo abitativo in territorio trevillese.
