Se vuoi fare foto alle farfalle senza che ti prendano in giro, devi alzarti la mattina col fresco, o verso sera, sono meno attive e si lasciano avvicinare. Ci possono effettuare ottime riprese anche con il sole, ma èmolto più difficile bloccarle. Poi vi sono specie più socievoli, altre meno. Altro problema è la focale. Se non vuoi avvicinarti troppo e veder scappar via la preda, devi procurarti un medio tele, 100/200 mm, meglio se macro per la resa ottica. Con quello rimani a una distanza che non allarma il lepidottero, non sempre però. La cosa più importante comunque, e vale per tutte i generi di foto, serve passione, studio delle abitudini, costanza.
