Il Castello del Boccale si innalza a Livorno, a sud di Antignano, lungo la strada costiera per Quercianella nel tratto di costa chiamato "Boccale" o "Cala dei Pirati". Il castello risale alla seconda metà dell'Ottocento, quando fu costruito sopra una torre medicea del 1595. Era una delle tante torri di avvistamento che presidiavano la costa in un complesso sistema di difesa. #Castles #Mare #Castelli
