Sydney (New South Wales) Luglio 2017 (inverno). Ogni domenica da maggio a settembre, alle 9.30 del mattino, i nuotatori iscritti al Bronte Splashers Swimming Club si incontrano in una delle piscine di mare più belle di Sydney per gareggiare tra di loro. Fondato nel 1921 è probabilmente il club di nuoto invernale più antico al mondo. Il club di nuoto e le sue antiche tradizioni sono diventate un'istituzione nel corso degli anni. I candidati, per poter diventare membri permanenti, devono superare un periodo di prova di cinque anni, nuotando nella piscina almeno tre domeniche al mese durante l'inverno.
