A Notre Dame e in tutto il quartiere latino, le luci non si spengono mai, cedono solo all'alba di un nuovo giorno. Il movimento è sempre caotico, pieno di gente di tutte le etnie, turisti in cerca di souvenir, ristoranti e ristorantini, soprattutto in rue De la Huchette e Saint Séverin, che ti fanno mangiare a tutte le ore. Ho visto gente mangiare alle quattro del pomeriggio, altri alle dieci del mattino.Fermarsi, dove ti importa l'istinto, perché non c'è che l'imbarazzo della scelta, sulle porte dei ristoranti, c'è sempre qualcuno (cameriere o addirittura il proprietario) che ti invita ad entrare, elencandoti menu, prezzi e specialità della casa.
