The open door...

Zanzibar ed i suoi colori

The open door sent on December 27, 2017 (16:36) by Paogar. 96 comments, 1919 views.

at 22mm, 1/60 f/3.8, ISO 800, hand held. Zanzibar, Tanzania.

I really like these photos-stories of distant countries, you did well to "dare", also because, in addition to the colors, the legs and so on. all very beautiful, I jump to the eye the processing of the door and its "braghettone" (I do not know if it is the exact term) that seems to me to be made of well-worked stone, and then the number ... small up high , placed at the center of the beam ... congratulations Paul.

Dear Rod,
I thank you so much for your beautiful and detailed comment and for the always very welcome compliments!
As for the door jamb ("braghettone" should be the exact term, at least in some parts of Italy) it is also finely worked wood!

Dear Marco,
always thank you very much for your kind attention and for the beautiful appreciation!
As already said to Rod, in the comment above, it is not a wall but a wooden jamb that frames the entire door!

Dear Giò,
... They, as you southern are more hospitable than we of the north ...
that, in general, can be even so I do not give you wrong but I can assure you that I know many people of the north that as for hospitality they have nothing to envy to anyone: I know that, in most cases, it is a bit of "places" ... common!
Thank you very much for your kind visit and for the always welcome compliments!

Even the combination of "bare foot and the other with slipper" makes the composition of the composition: -D; excellent riporesa made intriganteb from the half-closed door allowing you to glimpse, more 'than to see,
hints of merchandise inside, the mysterious human presence gives a touch of randomness to the image; a beautiful image in the complex in which there are also pleasant notes of color ;-); congratulations Paolo.

It seems that they have opened it specially for you ... to show you the bright colors inside. But you have been able to highlight everything, from the colors to the magnificent details of the door, really worthy of all your attention .... very good! :-)
