And the shipwreck is sweet to me in this sea sent on December 14, 2017 (19:56) by Paogar. 140 comments, 3160 views.

at 18mm, 1/400 f/10.0, ISO 100, hand held. Zanzibar, Tanzania.

Dear Claudio,
you have no idea of ??the "ups and downs" that I had to face to be able to insert into the image that colorful part at the top! :-D Let's say, indeed, that I "built" the image starting from ... there! :-P
Thank you so much for your beautiful and well-articulated comment and for the always very welcome compliments!
Best wishes to you too,
Paul

Yours is a little improper play. Posting a shot like this, in the middle of December, is really a provocation :-D :-D :-D
Excellent recovery. Beautiful idea to build a frame between the boat and the red curtain. Enhance and revive the scene.
Congratulations (envious :-P ;-))

That red roof is right at the right point ;-)
Small geographical note: I've never been there, but it seemed to me that the island was a nation to itself with Pemba :-)

PS thank you for reminding me of Leopardi: I studied it a lot in classical high school, but now the oblivion has fallen

Dear Marmor,
... That red roof is just right ...
I'm really glad you enjoyed my compositional idea!
Before going there I was convinced that Zanzibar was an independent nation: and in reality it was ... it was!
After reaching independence from the United Kingdom in 1961 and having proclaimed the Republic in 1962, the then Tanganica merged in 1964 with Zanzibar (formerly Sultanato, together with Pemba and other small islands of the archipelago. ) forming the Tanzanian state!
Thank you very much for your kind attention and appreciation!
Hi Paul
