Negli scatti statici no, da molto anni utilizzo la messa a fuoco posteriore che mi consente di mettere a fuoco la testa e ricomporre rapidamente prima di scattare....anche con soggetti che riempono il fotogramma.
Negli scatti al volo invece, con i soggetti piccoli sopratutto, qualche punto di maf in più farebbe comodo.

Rispetto alla lente liscia con l'extender 1.4 III un po di nitidezza si perde ma si recupera facilmente in post.
