Villa Draghi - Montegrotto Terme (PD) - Parco dei Colli Euganei Villa Draghi con il suo stile neogotico e il grande parco romantico rappresenta l'ultima testimonianza della civiltà della villa veneta. Sorge isolata sulle pendici del Monte Alto, sopra un piccolo poggio a ovest dell'abitato di Montegrotto Terme , fu costruita tra il 1848 e il 1850. L'intera proprietà nel 1972 è stata acquisita dal Comune di Montegrotto Terme, che recentemente ha provveduto a restaurare l'immobile. Villa Draghi è un palazzetto a pianta quadrata che si sviluppa su due piani e presenta un'architettura in stile neogotico il cui tratto maggiormente distintivo è l'elegante merlatura a coda di rondine sulla sommità, un elemento decorativo che si ispira al famoso Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. Oggi le sale della villa sono utilizzate per conferenze ed eventi culturali, ma la sua destinazione d'uso è ancora in discussione per trovarne una maggiore valorizzazione. L'edificio, in posizione senz'altro privilegiata, è dotato di una magnifica terrazza e di un piazzale da cui si gode una magnifica veduta della città termale e dei dintorni. La proprietà comprende inoltre un vasto parco di circa 30 ettari e parte del bosco che ricopre il colle sovrastante, da cui partono alcuni sentieri escursionistici di notevole interesse sia paesaggistico che naturalistico.
