Questa cascata stagionale è il fenomeno più spettacolare ed evidente del vasto sistema delle sorgenti del Pesio. Da questa imponente parete di roccia scaturiscono le acque assorbite su un area che varca lo spartiacque geografico e il confine di Stato. Si tratta dello sbocco del troppo pieno di un torrente sotterraneo che raccoglie le acque della sovrastante Conca delle Carsene. Il getto d'acqua principale sgorga dalla grotta omonima saltando per oltre 20 metri, mentre cascatelle minori escono con forza da piccole fessure della roccia. Il fenomeno si attiva solo stagionalmente, in occasione delle piene primaverili.
