Particolare dei portici, ristrutturati che collegano la città di Bologna con il colle della Guardia dove si trova il Santuario della Madonna di San Luca. essi sono formati da 666 archi e 15 cappelle: Secondo alcuni il numero 666 non sarebbe un caso. Il numero "del Diavolo" infatti sarebbe stato utilizzato per rappresentare il Portico-serpente ( per la lunghezza e forma infatti la potrebbe ricordare) e rappresenta così la tradizione della Madonna che sovrasta il Diavolo sconfitto. I bolognesi percorrono spesso questo portico a piedi. Solitamente si percorre la parte collinare, quella che comincia in Via Saragozza dall'Arco del Meloncello, lunga 2,4 km ( tutti in salita) con 350 arcate: Lo si fa per tradizione ma spesso come voto, per questioni più o meno serie.
