Sabato sera, tornando a casa dopo la Mostra di Smith, all'improvviso, ho voglia di bere un caffè, ma mi blocca il semaforo. Ferma in mezzo a una moltitudine di gente, aspetto il verde, e quando scatta, parte a razzo dal marciapiede opposto, una bella ragazza bionda. Mi chiedo dove vada così di corsa, mi giro, incuriosita e la vedo letteralmente volare fra le braccia di un ragazzo ai bordi della fontana. Avevo la reflex al collo, voi che avreste fatto al posto mio? Ho scattato questa foto provando una tenerezza infinita per questi due ragazzi, mi sono emozionata per loro, ho gioito per la loro felicità del momento, e gli ho augurato di non deludersi mai reciprocamente. Spero che questi attimi così profondi e intimi di vera gioia che provano nel ritrovarsi, li accompagnino sempre. Lo so, si scontreranno con realtà più grandi di loro, il cielo sereno sopra di loro, si riempirà dei nuvoloni che la vita gli riserva, ma se si stringeranno l'uno a all'altra, come adesso, il sole spazzerà le nubi.
