Nel 2010 ha fatto la sua comparsa, nei dintorni della borgata Gorrea di Clavesana, una gigantesca panchina di colore rosso: in tutto e per tutto simile a una normale seduta da giardino pubblico, fatta eccezione per le dimensioni fuori scala, è la Big Red Bench 1. Installazione artistica nata con l'intento di coniugare la normale funzione della panchina con quel pizzico di magia che deriva dal sentirsi nuovamente bambini sedendocisi sopra e contemplare il paesaggio. E infatti proprio così recita la frase scritta sulla panchina, rigorosamente in piemontese: quando hai bisogno di tirare un po' il fiato, siediti qui e ti sentirai tornare bambino.La panchina è stata studiata e realizzata da Chris Bangle, grande designer americano responsabile delle linee di diverse automobili della BMW . Nel 2009 Bangle che è nato in Ohio in una città chiamata Ravenna e quindi probabilmente aveva l'Italia nel destino, ha scelto di trasferirsi con la famiglia in provincia di Cuneo e più precisamente proprio a Clavesana. La Big Red è stata realizzata a poca distanza dalla sua abitazione. Ad oggi sono nove le panchine ufficiali realizzate nella zona di Langhe e Roero.
