Invece delle tradizionali luminarie natalizie, venti installazioni luminose firmate da grandi "maestri della luce" di fama internazionale illuminano vie, piazze e palazzi del centro cittadino, trasformandolo in un museo d'arte contemporanea a cielo aperto. Uno spettacolo completamente gratuito, che va in scena ogni giorno dal tramonto all'alba fino al 10 gennaio, da ammirare con il naso per aria, scoprendo gli angoli più suggestivi della città sotto...una luce diversa.Nella fattispecie siamo in Piazza San Carlo con le luminarie di Via Roma che propone il tema dell'universo immenso con il Planetario di Carmelo Giammello, una brillante Via Lattea che splende sulla via riproducendo le principali costellazioni e collegando piazza Castello con la stazione di Porta Nuova.
