@ChristianBdE, yes, you are wrong as the background blur on the original colour photograph appears even more blurred than it appears on the B&W conversion. The background trees were a long way away. If your question is 'did I blur the background', the answer is no. The only adjustments were a very small crop and a +.05 Contrast adjustment, then the B&W conversion. Basically untouched. The 70-200 is a great lens and gives an outstanding bokeh. Cheers, John...

I believe the most important thing is to be there, the 2nd, to shoot a lot of photos as no-one will pose for you and they doing what they do every day and you are an intrusion into their life.
