I had not told before but this shot has an interesting backstage. After 2 days of snowstorm on Cape Cod came out a clear day and very cold. I had to go out early in the morning but there was no way to pull out the car from the snow and I had to wait for the tow truck with a nervous not I tell you.
Heard my American friends we decided groped in the afternoon at a site where we saw 3 copies a few days before.
Once at the site we found, as we had hoped, the dunes completely covered with snow and a bright sun. We started to walk and sbinocolare but finding a white beast in a "desert" White is not a trivial thing right if not for the fact that, basically, lurking in a dominant point. In addition to walk on the dunes was really tiring for the amount; Of snow in some places, over six feet. After an hour of hard work finally an owl on top of a dune in the distance. He requested another 30 minutes to walk around it and also get the benefit of light but then really gave us a show substantial returns with fledglings and frequent and several shots like this and others where you see the blue ocean in the background and that I will post soon.
Great effort and great satisfaction.
Gran fatica e gran soddisfazione. Ciao, fabrizio |
