Premetto ancora che mi piacerebbe avere conferma dall'autore di quanto deduco perchè potrei essere fuori strada anche perchè le considerazioni che seguono si riferiscono ad una foto di 1200px e non è facile.
L'impressione è di una forte elaborazione in post per accentuare il contrasto con lo sfondo (che dò per scontato sia quello reale dello scatto) che ha comportato una selezione sufficientemente accurata dei soggetti ma, per come vedo, visibile. Il trattamento poi separato di sfondo e soggetti, con un forte recupero della nitidezza e vividezza di quest'ultimi e una probabile desaturazione dello sfondo, ha dato all'immagine l'effetto che si vede. La critica è all'eccesso di questo trattamento. Quando l'ho aperta ed anche successivamente dopo averci fatto l'occhio, l'impressione è di due entità (soggetti e sfondo) non abbinati, una specie di copia-incolla, la nitidezza così eccessiva stona visivamente con le varie sfocature dei vari piani di sfondo e si ha (io ho) l'impressione che qualcosa non torni tra le distanze dei vari piani e la presumibile distanza di tiro dai soggetti e dagli sfondi, impressione secondo me dovuta probabilmente proprio all'eccessivo lavoro differenziato.

Tomvas, Tiga-massi: confesso che non ho seguito proprio tutto il discorso: sono abbastanza negata in PP, non la amo particolamente e mi limito ai pochi, soliti, passaggi per elaborare il Raw. Non ho mai provato a fare dei copia e incolla con le foto e non sono interessata a quel genere di elaborazioni.
In genere riduco il rumore solo sullo sfondo e non sul soggetto (o per lo meno ci provo). La foto è stata fatta sulla spiaggia di Matapalo (circa a metà strada fra Puerto Jimenez e il parco del Corcovado) nel tardo pomeriggio, poco prima di andare a prendere el colectivo per tornare a Puerto Jimenez.
Lo sfondo è composto da 2 piani: le palme in primo piano direttamente sulla spiaggia e la foresta in secondo piano ormai già in ombra; fra i 2 piani c'è del fumo che ha un po' offuscato lo sfondo e, in un primo tempo, mi ha lasciata non poco contrariata.
Lo scatto è un leggero crop: se ricordo bene, c'era un terzo pappagallo tagliato a metà nell'inquadratura originale; quindi la composizione è frutto del ritaglio in PP e non è originale

Grazie mille Parvati. In effetti non avevo pensato al fumo per l'effetto che si vede. Unitamente alla differenza di luce tra soggetti e sfondo spiega bene l'effetto da me a questo punto ritenuto erroneamente dovuto ad una PP troppo accentuata. Effetto che con una normale PP si accentua ancora di più. Fossi in te non sarei contrariata perchè è proprio quel casuale fumo che regala alla foto un effetto molto particolare.
Per la composizione e relativo ritaglio, anche se penso sia solo un po' ironico e ci stà , è la prassi anche perchè in inseguimento in volo a mano libera non so quanti siano in grado di comporre volutamente mentre scattano. Ci si può provare ma la percentuale di riuscita non è certamente alta.
Complimenti per lo splendido scatto, per l'EP e per le spiegazioni ampiamente esaurienti.

Tomvas sono rimasta un po' delusa per l'aspetto strano che il fumo (dei ragazzi stavano arrostendo del pesce appena pescato) dava allo sfondo accentuato dal leggero crop che ha eliminato, oltre al mezzo pappagallo, anche una fettina di foresta non appannata dal fumo. Cerco il più possibile di comporre al meglio al momento dello scatto ma preferisco un leggero ritaglio per eliminare elementi di disturbo rispetto al clonarli, semplicemente perchè non sarei capace ad eliminare mezza ara senza fare pasticci . Sono tornata 3 volte per vedere le ara tornare ai luoghi di riposo notturno alla sera ma alla fine questa era lo scatto "meno peggio" (con luce e compo migliore)
A suo tempo avevo comunque scelto di postare questo scatto, non perfetto, rispetto ad altri scatti più ravvicinati e statici dell'ara macao per le emozioni che mi evocava e perchè avevo a lungo sognato di potere vedere le ara macao in volo libere su una foresta tropicale.
Sono convinta e concordo che con una PP migliore lo scatto possa essere migliorato e ringrazio ancora tutti voi che con i vostri commenti e osservazioni mi aiutate a capire i punti deboli e spero |
