Lully credo tu sappia che questo dipinto appartiene a quel genere pittorico che tanto successo ha avuto in campo artistico nel corso degli anni. Si tratta del Trompe l'oeil . Il trompe-l'oeil (francese propr. "inganna l'occhio"), è un genere pittorico che, attraverso espedienti, induce nell'osservatore l'illusione di stare guardando oggetti reali e tridimensionali, in realtà dipinti su una superficie bidimensionale. Il trompe-l'oeil consiste tipicamente nel dipingere un soggetto in modo sufficientemente realistico, da far sparire alla vista la parete su cui è dipinto. Ad esempio, il trompe-l'oeil trova il suo campo nella rappresentazione di finestre, porte o atri, per dare l'illusione che lo spazio interno di un ambiente sia più vasto. Se ne hanno esempi già nell'antica Grecia, nella società romana e nelle epoche successive, fino all'arte contemporanea. Sei stato tanto carino nella spiegazione e ti ringrazio perchè l'hai fatto benissimo e può servire anche chi non è a conoscenza di quest'arte. A me sono sempre piaciuti i trompe l'oeil e, se non sbaglio, la prima volta li vidi a Parigi tanti anni fa.
Non so se l'hai visto, ma prima di questo ne avevo postato un altro proprio col titolo ''trompe l'oeil''.
