In questo edificio mi ci ha portato Ray Palm e mi ha raccontato la sua storia. La chiesetta di Santo Spirito risale al XV secolo, è situata in fondo alla Valle Aurina e rappresenta uno dei luoghi di pellegrinaggio più affascinanti di questa zona. A suo tempo servì i fedeli che lavoravano nella miniera di Predoi. Fra gli elementi peculiari custoditi al suo interno ci sono i due crocifissi di cui uno risulta perforato da proiettili. Raimondo ha fatto cenno alle leggende che circolano a riguardo. Poi mi ha parlato dell’altro crocifisso, ripreso nella sua espressione più triste, grondante di sangue. Raimondo ha specificato che dovrebbe essere una delle figure più realistiche tra le rappresentazioni della passione del Cristo.
