Dopo il Festival di Sanremo, la corsa ciclistica classicissima di Primavera, in città è arrivato il momento dei “Carri Fioriti” che dal 1904 ad oggi hanno avuto denominazioni diverse, percorsi e ricorsi storici. E’ un appuntamento che richiama decine di migliaia di turisti che sopratutto arrivano in treno o torpedone, quest’anno si sono certificate le 75.000 presenze, agevolati dal fatto che la manifestazione è praticamente gratuita.
