In molti paesi d'Italia, sotto varie forme e vari nomi, in particolare alla fine dell'Estate, avvengono dei "Balli della Pupazza" (una figura generalmente femminile, di cartapesta, a cui poi viene dato fuoco). Si tratta, credo, di un antico rituale pagano propiziatorio (non penso abbia nulla a che fare con riminescenze del rogo delle streghe o simili), e a volte viene "inglobato" e "normalizzato" alla fine delle feste religiose. Qui siamo a Civita d'Antino (AQ), 24 Agosto 2025.
