Mentre ero lì infatti mi sono domandato se quel bellissimo panorama che io in quel momento ammiravo poteva in qualche modo lenire le sofferenze delle miglia di giovani che solcavano quei luoghi, oppure se l'orrore della guerra lo oscurava e lo rendeva complice delle atrocità che lì si compivano.
Naturalmente non ne ho avuto risposta, però tutto questo mi porta a confermare la mia idea che la memoria storica dovrebbe rappresentare un grande insegnamento per disegnare il nostro futuro.
