Excellent pdr and wonderful view of the Cadini. The path that guides the gaze towards the horizon embellishes the excellent composition

Ah, well, in such a fantastic place it is a must to take and take home a super beautiful photo-postcard-souvenir, and it is also a must to continuously refresh the memory of the massacres and carnage that happened here to the young people of that time, a hundred years ago, in the so-called Great War.... which was to be the last in the world.... for the horrors, the mourning and the immensity of sorrows that were produced and known and touched with their hands......

Dear friend Giancarlo, it is with immense pleasure that I read your comment, on one of the shots that - beyond its beauty or not - I consider among the most representative of my last trip to the Dolomites, precisely because of the intrinsic meaning that accompanies it. While I was there, in fact, I wondered if that beautiful panorama that I was admiring at that moment could somehow alleviate the suffering (even atrocious) of the thousands of young people who crossed those places, or if the horror of war obscured him and made him an accomplice in the atrocities that were carried out there.
Of course I have not received an answer, but all this leads me to confirm my idea that historical memory should represent a great lesson to design our future.
Again THANK YOU
Franco
