Durante una passeggiata mattutina per riprendere panorami delle Alpi Bernesi ho avvistato casualmente un bellissimo esemplare di Ermellino, che correva nell'erba alta di un prato che le recenti piogge hanno liberato dalla neve. Il manto bianco invernale mi ha permesso di localizzarlo facilmente, ma la ripresa non è stata semplice malgrado l'autofocus super-reattivo della Nikon Z6 III, che mi ha permesso di "agganciarlo" rapidamente. Anche il Sigma 150-600 f/5-6.3 C, nonostante i suoi limiti da super-tele "economico", si è comportato bene, ma la distanza elevata (circa 120 mt.) e il ritaglio necessario dell'immagine non mi hanno permesso di effettuare il primo piano ravvicinato che avrei sognato. Fortunatamente ho scattato subito la foto nella classica posa "di allarme". Un secondo dopo, a causa di un maldestro tentativo di avvicinamento, è scomparso in una buca e non è più riemerso.
