Pierpaolo, thank you :-) In fact, running after megapixels is a mania that is not always useful. I don't want to say that the 6 Mpx of this camera are certainly enough, but, in general, already "old" 12-16 Mpx cameras allow appreciable qualitative results (definition, colors, noise). :-)
This camera is fine up to ISO 400, then it decays, in terms of noise and color rendering, quite suddenly... a bit like the old color films 8-)
The real flaw of the design of this camera is only in terms of comfort/operational practicality, compared to the machines that have supplanted it over the years, starting with the monitor, a bit small... but 20 years ago it was touching the sky with a finger to be able to view the photo just taken ;-)
Hello, Carlo Pierpaolo, grazie  in effetti correre appresso ai megapixel è una mania non sempre utile. Non voglio mica dire che i 6 Mpx di questa fotocamera sono sicuramente bastevoli, ma, in genere, già fotocamere "anziane" da 12-16 Mpx consentono risultati qualitativi (definizione, colori, rumore) apprezzabili.
Questa fotocamera va benissimo fino a 400 ISO, poi decade, in termini di rumore e di resa cromatica, in maniera abbastanza repentina... un po' come le vecchie pellicole a colori 
La vera pecca del progetto di questa fotocamera è solo in termini di comodità/praticità operativa, al confronto con le macchine che l'hanno soppiantata negli anni, a partire dal monitor, un po' piccolo... ma 20 anni fa era toccare il cielo con un dito il poter visionare la foto appena scattata
