at 18mm, 1/250 f/11.0, ISO 100, hand held. New York, United States.

A composition that is indeed particular but in my opinion very effective, personally I see it as the great United States of America after all are small compared to creation, I repeat it is my impression.
And then going out of the box always distinguishes the best, congratulations.

Making the shot of a site photographed a million times unusual and meaningful is not easy, but you have succeeded.
The shooting point and the composition you gave it excellently represented the interpretation you wanted to give it (as you exhaustively reported in the caption), a very apt title.
In my opinion, it also renders very well in black and white.
Congratulations

Greetings Christian

Dearest Cristiano,
thank you again for the attention you have dedicated to my images and for the beautiful and very welcome comments.
Yes, I am also convinced that a "decisive" b/w, very contrasted, could be somewhat... interesting.
Hello and have a nice day,
Paolo

A compositional choice that has paid off, I would say.... I like it a lot!

Great performance. Composition studied ad hoc, perfect title that coincides with the meaning of the photo. Last but not least, quoting De André's texts is a great added value. Very good Paolo, I like him a lot.
Bye gios ;-)

Excellent interpretation Paolo
The images of the statue alone or of the clouds alone: they would have been "already seen". So you offered the greatest role to the sky, without denying the statue, so you proposed the image of the sky of NEW York and not just any sky. I tried to imagine a horizontal format of the photo, but I think that the vertical cut you have chosen is the most suitable for the two subjects
Congratulations, a hug.
Sergius

Dear Sergio,
thank you very much for the very careful and articulate comment that goes well with my intent in "packaging" this image.
I did some tests in the horizontal format, to tell the truth, but it seems a bit too much... Bold. :-D
A very affectionate hug to you too,
Paolo
