Zara, Croazia. L'“Organo del Mare” è una scalinata di marmo bianco che degrada dolcemente nel mare. I gradini nascondono 35 canne d'organo, ognuna di dimensioni diverse. Il suono esce dai buchi disposti lungo la superficie e i lati della scalinata, come visibile in foto. Secondo la descrizione contenuta nella mia guida, il suono dovrebbe uscire con melodie tenui e rilassanti, quando il mare è calmo, e con melodie più incalzanti e vibranti quando le onde si increspano e il mare diventa agitato. Quando ho scattato la foto, il mare era leggermente increspato e il suono che si udiva era un sibilo acuto piuttosto cupo. A me è parso un niente di che! Ma, probabilmente, quel giorno, le condizioni non erano delle migliori. Il mare, invece, era strabiliante!
