Stavo cercando di scattare qualche macro, ma c'era vento ed ero abbastanza demotivata. Improvvisamente ho sentito un fruscio e mi sono ritrovata a poca distanza questo fagiano che avanzava indisturbato. Ho potuto scattare molto velocemente senza essere vista una decina di foto, poi è volato via. Ho modificato l'immagine alla base, copiando l'erba da una delle foto scattate precedentemente, perché il fagiano si era appoggiato su un telo di plastica (quello che si mette intorno ai fiori per non far crescere l'erba). Credo che un'occasione così non mi capiterà mai più! Aggiungo queste precisazioni che mi ha gentilmente inviato Alessandro (Istrice), che ancora ringrazio. Il fagiano non è un Fagiano comune ma un Fagiano di Reeves. Una specie originaria della Cina che è stata introdotta da noi per scopi ornamentali. Sicuramente il soggetto è sfuggito da qualche allevamento. Lo dimostra il fatto che ha anche il becco superiore "rotto". In realtà gli viene tagliato per evitare che nelle voliere i maschi si becchino ferendosi anche mortalmente.
