Lilium orientale o giglio asiatico. FS di 16 scatti. Nella cultura contemporanea, il Lilium pur mantenendo il suo significato connesso a sentimenti nobili, non è strettamente connesso a verginità e purezza, soprattutto perché, nel corso del tempo, sono state scoperte specie spontanee di colori diversi dal bianco (come rosa, crema o arancione) o sono stati introdotte versioni elaborate dall'uomo. Il Lilium significa fierezza, ed è tipico di chi va avanti per la sua strada con orgoglio. L'aspetto relativo alla sottomissione è stato, in un certo senso, traslato dalla fedeltà incondizionata al proprio re, all'amore di coppia: infatti, quando un uomo regala il Lilium alla sua amata le manifesta il suo amore assoluto e incondizionato.
