La Befana fascista, denominata anche Befana o Natale del duce, fu istituita nel 1928 e si protrasse fino al 1943. Lo scopo era la distribuzione, in concomitanza con la festività della Epifania, di pacchi dono ai bambini delle classi più disagiate. Queste persone non ci sono più, dietro ad ognuno dei loro volti c'è una storia, una vita ormai già vissuta con tutte le vicissitudini che l 'esistenza comporta. Una fotografia in posa ha cristallizzato in un istante tutto un mondo che a noi sembra lontanissimo nel tempo ma che rivive ogni volta che la osserviamo. P.S.
