Unfortunately there are worse examples but man does not take them into account in the slightest.
Congratulations on the image.

Cain killed Abel, Romulus killed Remus. Those from whom DNA descends...
Sad, but inescapable.

Photos of great emotional impact, significant that network behind which those skulls are confined. The caption is also very nice. Excellent proposal, congratulations Pinitti.

I am very drastic in my reflections sometimes, I believe that such images do not scratch any head of state or army commander, their sinister soul will still lead their army to battle and death. I also wonder if wars as well as being used for conquests have not also been used as demographic control, given the continuous wars fought by millennia and despite everything we are 8 billion people on earth, I dare not imagine otherwise how many we were.
Leaving my outburst in the background, I congratulate you for the realization, which makes us reflect.
Hello, Loris

Interesting description.
Then the idea of combat had been left behind by a hundred years, but at the same time the weapons had changed, especially the artillery, and therefore, entire squadrons were sent to the massacre by stupid commanders incapable of any military strategy.
The problem is that from the war schools, when I was in the military, foolish captains had still come out who, while continuing to study, demonstrated, at joint military exercises, that they did not understand anything, taking prisoners with the whole team for gross strategic errors.
War is certainly not a good thing, but if the person in charge is a shot you only risk increasing the number of skulls.
Good light

Good captains would be needed in every area of life, I had my father, excellent school, I hope to be so for my daughters.
Thanks for the welcome comment Walter, hello.

Ah, well you did dear Pinitti to post this image; Yes, among the French, Italians and Austrians, it is estimated that in the battle of June 1859 the dead were over ten thousand, buried quickly, out of necessity, in mass graves. Around 1870 the remains were exhumed.... 1274 skulls were placed in the Ossuary of San Martino and 1413 in that of Solferino... Poor. [
