La stazione metro più bella d'Europa si trova a Napoli Nella classifica stilata dal giornale britannico Telegraph la stazione di Toledo è al primo posto tra le 22 stazioni europee elencate. Nella classifica compare solo un'altra stazione italiana sempre a Napoli, quella di Materdei . La stazione Toledo della metropolitana di Napoli è la più bella d' Europa, a dare questo primato alla metro napoletana è stato il giornale britannico Telegraph, che ha raggruppato in una fotogallery le 22 stazioni più incantevoli tra le fermate delle metropolitane europee. Un riconoscimento importante per il capoluogo campano che può annoverare nella classifica al 16esimo posto anche la stazione di Materdei . La stazione di Toledo che si trova nella centrale via omonima fa parte del progetto Stazioni d'arte della linea 1 della metropolitana del capoluogo partenopeo ed è stata aperta al pubblico solo a settembre 2012. Il progetto è dell'architetto catalano Oscar Tousquets Blanco, ma all'interno ci sono opere di William Kendridge, Bob Wilson e Achille Cevoli. Napoli ha quindi battuto Mosca con la stazione di Komsomolskaya che si fa ammirare soprattutto per soffitti ornati da mosaici, ma anche Stoccolma dove c'è la stazione Solna caratteristica per il soffitto rosso che richiama una caverna con le pareri dipinte di abeti. Ci sono poi la stazione di Westminster d di Londra, fatta di acciaio, l'Arts et Métiers di Parigi e la Bockenheimer Warte di Francoforte che colpisce proprio per la particolarità del suo ingresso, un vagone che esce dal marciapiede. Nella classifica presenti molte stazioni dei Paesi dell'Europa orientale, mentre nessun'altra stazione di città italiane è presente. --- fonte WEB -- Rod
