Isola Garda con la sua splendida villa ... La prima villa sull'isola del Garda venne fatta costruire dal conte Luigi Lechi su ciò che restava dell'antico monastero. Da Isola dei Frati, altro nome con cui era conosciuta, diventò un'isola residenziale per accogliere la famiglia del nuovo proprietario. Tra i lavori di nuova costruzione è interessante menzionare il porticciolo realizzato sulla base del progetto proposto dall'architetto Rodolfo Vantini nel 1830. La definitiva trasformazione dell'allora villa Lechi si deve al duca de Ferrari ed alla sua consorte Maria Annenkoff. Il nuovo palazzo dell'isola del Garda venne costruito a cavallo tra il XIX ed il XX secolo seguendo lo stile neogotico veneziano, ossia per intenderci quello adottato anche per il Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. ________________________Da vedere https://www.lecosmopolite.it/isola-del-garda/
