Bravissimo Giorgio, I admired them along the road that leads to the restaurant Agriturismo Magazzè with his friend Rosario, as well as going to Modica and Scicli, fantastic places.
The dry stone walls in Tuscany were used for terraces given the morphology of the hilly territory, from you the use and more from territorial delimitation, I would not be surprised to see it protected by UNESCO :-P
Beautiful

UNESCO has inscribed "The Art of dry stone walls" in the list of intangible elements declared a World Heritage Site.
I'm glad you were in Ragusa.
Thank you very much for the appreciation!
Best regards,
Giorgio

How wonderful Giorgio, thanks for posting photos and caption. Dry stone walls allow life to many species, unlike walls made of mortar or cement. :-)

Thank you Claudio for the very welcome comment!
What you say is true is the refuge and home of different species, even birds.
Best regards,
Giorgio

Beautiful and unmistakable dry stone walls of Ragusa. Too bad that the local workers are increasingly disappearing for this tradition that as you have well described identifies the construction technique of the place. Shooting magnificent, congratulations.
