Kassiopi è uno dei paesi più sviluppati nella parte settentrionale dell'isola di Corfù. Nato nell'antichità come un villaggio di pescatori oggi offre tutte le strutture turistiche fra cui due spiagge. All'epoca romana Kassiopi era un paese florido in quanto situato sulla rotta navale ed oggi risulta essere un paese con un suo fascino, un centro, un porto raccolto e pittoresco, due insenature con le spiagge divise da un promontorio e le rovine di un castello bizantino. Pur offrendo alloggi, ristoranti e pub per i vacanzieri non è un paese nato a scopo turistico come ad esempio Roda a nord o Kavos a sud. Kassiopi ha alle sue spalle il monte Pantokratoras, è circondato dalla vegetazione ed è l'ultimo paese che ha di fronte le coste dell'Albania e della Grecia. Il porto è tutt'oggi utilizzato dai pescatori Corfioti e si respira ancora un'aria di semplicità tipica della cultura greca.
