Nella foto - scattata a pasquetta - l'invaso della diga di Place Moulin visto da un'altra prospettiva. Da questa immagine si intuisce il colore verde-turchese delle sue acque, ben poche in verità, il lago è pressoché vuoto, siccità e cambiamento climatico le cause. La corona dei monti che lo contorna ha solo una leggera spolverata di neve e anche nelle cime più alte la situazione non è migliore anzi è drammatica pensando che sono vette di tutto rispetto: infatti, verso il fondo lago s'innalzano le Grandes Murailles che, con la Dent d'Herens (prima cima a sinistra), toccano in altezza i 4.179 m. e le Petites Murailles che, con la Tour du Creton (ultima cima più a destra nella stessa direttrice), toccano i 3.579 m. I relativi ghiacciai che si intravedono in foto sono solo un lontano ricordo di quello che erano e dell'imponenza che avevano solo un ventennio fa: praticamente, Grandes e Petites Murailles erano attraversate da un'unica e spessa coltre ghiacciata che ora non c'è più!
