Cari amici, vi confesso, non avrei mai pensato che in una chiesa milanese edificata nel 1920, fosse racchiuso un capolavoro di stupore maternale: la pala d'altare con l'Incoronazione della Vergine di Befulco (1492). Mia moglie ha letto non so dove che c'era questa pala da vedere ed io, un po' scettico mi chiedevo quale pataccata poteva essere, visto che non ne avevo mai sentito parlare. E invece! Non sto a riscrivere notizie che potete già trovare in rete (il sito della parrocchia di Santa Maria Segreta, è esaustivo), ma vi dico semplicemente che per me, questa inusuale e particolarissima iconografia, nella sua splendente bellezza di oro e colori damascati, ha suscitato una nuova e strana serenità perché, nell'abbraccio materno della Madonna, anche il male peggiore non ha l'ultima parola: una certezza decisamente confortante! Alla luce di questa esperienza, in questi giorni drammatici, mi permetto di ricordarvi che possiamo affidare a Lei, i mali dell'uomo e del mondo, …. E infine, anche i miei. Già, proprio alla nostra Mamma Celeste, che oggi ho riscoperto in questa nuova veste, Madre, Sposa e Figlia. Don Maurizio, parroco di Santa Maria Segreta dove è cresciuto Beato Carlo Acutis, che vedete nella seconda immagine, ci ha raccontato la storia del dipinto e il suo straordinario valore simbolico.
