Le piene del Po di Goro resero necessari negli anni sessanta lavori di rinforzo delle arginature. A Rivà di Ariano nel Polesine per lasciare spazio all'argine si dovette demolire la chiesa parrocchiale che fu ricostruita in un luogo più sicuro, l'attuale piazza di Rivà. A testimonianza di questo evento è rimasto il solitario campanile che domina lo spazio verde nei pressi dell'argine del Po di Goro. Parco Delta del Po - Provincia di Rovigo.
