Qualche giorno fa, con mia moglie siamo andati a Paruzzaro, piccolo comune nei pressi di Arona, sul lago Maggiore. Paruzzaro, di per sé ha ben poco da dire, ma se vai al cimitero (allegria!), trovi una piccola perla: San Marcello, una sparuta chiesetta dell'anno mille con gli interni magistralmente affrescati. In questa foto puoi ammirare il particolare dell'abside, opera attribuita a Sperindio Cagnola, allievo di Gaudenzio Ferrari. Si distingue il Cristo pantocratore nella mandorla con i simboli dei quattro evangelisti, sotto ci sono i 12 apostoli, mentre nello zoccolo inferiore sono raffigurate le Opere di misericordia. Carina, no?
