Rosignano Monferrato, è il paese degli “infernot”. Decretati dall'Unesco Patrimonio dell'Umanità, gli “infernot” sono opere d'arte uniche al mondo: si tratta di anfratti, piccole cantine dall'aspetto di grotte ricavate sotto alle case scavando nella pietra arenaria e realizzate per la conservazione ottimale dei vini: qui, la fa da padrone il Grignolino d'Asti (in basso, nella foto, una delle tantissime vigne del circondario). Averli è fonte di vanto per i suoi circa 1.500 abitanti. Alcuni sono pure visitabili all'interno nell'ambito di un percorso eno-gastronomico che consiglio vivamente di fare.
