Ho scattato la foto da Agira, dalla cima del monte Teja alle cui pendici sorge e dove sono presenti i resti dell'antico castello medioevale. Dagli 824 m della cima si gode uno spettacolo di rara bellezza, un panorama grandioso e mozzafiato. Si possono ammirare la catena dei Monti Erei, le cime delle lontane Madonie e dei vicini Nebrodi, nonché la maestosa Etna, oltre ai laghi artificiali Pozzillo e Sciaguana, due gemme incastonate dentro un non comune scenario naturale, le pianure di Caramitia e Dittaino e, nei giorni limpidi, quelle di Catania e di Lentini. Molti sono pure i centri abitanti visibili dalla cima, da Enna a Nicosia, da Gagliano Castelferrato a Troina, da Cerami a Capizzi, da Aidone ad Assoro, da Regalbuto a Nissoria, ecc. Uno dei più bei panorami della Sicilia.
