Personalmente ho realizzato questo servizio fotografico a settembre del 2019 a Trieste, grazie all'amico juzzino Pietro Stilli. Ma che cos'è il Cospaly? Il termine Cosplay, nato dall'unione delle parole inglesi “costume” e “play”, sta a significare l'identificazione nel proprio personaggio favorito, che sia un eroe dei cartoni animati, dei fumetti o dei videogiochi, cercando di imitarne gesti e comportamenti, e soprattutto indossando un costume, identico a quello portato da colui che si vuole impersonare, corredato dagli stessi accessori, quali armi, anelli, scettri e così via. Il termine “cosplayer” indica invece colui o colei che pratica il cosplay. Origini del Cosplay Non siamo sicuri di quali siano esattamente le origini di questo fenomeno. I primi appassionati si presume risalgano agli anni Settanta, quando apparvero alle fiere dei fumetti (Comic Market) travestiti appunto dai personaggi dei cartoni dell'epoca. È tuttavia con il grande successo di “Evangelion”, nel 1995, che il cosplay raggiunge il suo apice e inizia la sua travolgente diffusione, che continua ancora oggi e che ha attirato su questa forma d'arte gli occhi della gente.
