Si tratta di Tajinaste (Echium wildpretii ss Trichosiiphon) una pianta endemica de La Palma, Canarie, la cui infiorescenza di colore violetto può raggiungere i tre metri di altezza. Fiorisce in maggio e quello che mi colpisce maggiormente è il suo aspetto preistorico.
