I lavori ripresero e durarono circa trent'anni.

Hello Massimo_Photo
No, it's not started now, but about a year ago, late spring. there were kids playing football, the faithful coming in and out of the church.
I waited for the auspicious shadow and in the meantime, also, patiently, a moment when there was no one.
I was lucky.
These days would be ideal for walking around photographing monuments, without the crowds covering them, but you can't. Too bad, I admit I was tempted to do it, in my city, without dading to travel, but it is not right. It should not be done.
Thank you for your comment
A warm greeting

Hi Gios.
Sa premeditated" take pictures seen here on Juza of this place I didn't know and that I was stimulated to visit in particular by the photos of Sebastiano Calleri.
On the place I experienced this alternative pdr that: if it tells less the Basilica emphasizes more the loggia that fascinated me the most
I thank you very much for your positive feedback and in-depth analysis, as well as for the always very welcome compliments
A dear greeting
Sergio

Hello Pierpaolo
Camilleri was supposed to be a charismatic person, I would have loved to meet him.
I love reading his books and the tv shows are just as fascinating. These also gave visibility to many places of the Syracuse and the Ragusano for which a tourist tour was created in the places of the "Commissioner Montalbano". Happy idea, because these two provinces contain so many cultural and food and wine beauties so the tour can be easily expanded at will including other centers.
Thank you very much for your lovely comment
A warm greeting

Hi Walter.
This church was a very recent surprise to me. Paradoxically, I discovered it here on Juza.
Ma even when I went there, few indications, yet it is a place of fascination and the cinematic feedback is proof
Thank very much for your careful analysis of the shot, for your beautiful words to comment and for the always welcome compliments
A greeting

John and David, thank you very much for your positive comment on this shot.
The shadow was deliberately waiting, to return the embrace of this semi-circle loggia.
I'm very glad you liked my key reading.
A cherished greeting
