Hello Marco, I'm glad you liked this iconic image of the port and the city of Messina that has always been a point of passage: to and from Sicily.
Happy you also enjoyed the caption dedicated to all those who from this beautiful island, for pleasure or for work have had to detach. There are those who leave happy to go elsewhere and there are those who leave sad. In all cases, we always carry a piece of isolation inside.
Thank you for your nice comment.
A dear greeting
Sergio

Wonderful panoramic, where you can see the port of the beautiful Messina and on the horizon beyond the thin strip of sea still the land, that of Calabria. Even more wonderful the caption. Congratulations Sergio

Poetry blends perfectly with the meaning of your intervention. In fact, the word "nostalgia" comes from the fusion of two graci terms, nostos-return- algos-suffering. The view is wonderful for colour and contrast. I would have trimmed a portion of blue at the top, leaving everything else intact, preferring a horizontal cut. But it remains my modest opinion. Very nice Sergio.
Bye gios ;-)

These great panoramas move a priori but if the heart there is lost........ the view clouds!!! Gorgeous and romantic vision!

Hello Barbara, I am very pleased with your appreciation at this overview.
Genova and Messina: two cities on the sea.
I guess you've had a few times, the nostalgia of the sea.
Then, seen from "inside" the cities show their flaws, but in a wide overview, with a minimum of detachment, they show their beauty and heart is moved
Thank you very much for your passage and comment
A great greeting

Hello Marco.
I was helped, in this photo, by a favorable weather on a hot winter day.
The company of William, inspired the caption.
Happy you liked it.
Thank you so much
A big greeting

I'm not Sicilian but starting from that port I left a bit of myself in Sicily after doing the complete tour of the island and having met the mythical Rosario, I was excited to see this beautiful glimpse, congratulations Sergio.
A greeting :-) Loris, Iran

Hello Loris, I'm glad that the shot woke you up pleasant memories and emotions. Happy even if Sicily remained in your heart, also thanks to the mythical Rosario.
The plane, but also the train, are fast and create a quick detachment, from the places, the ship, instead slowly moves away from the pier and slowly crosses the Strait: just under half an hour, between one bank and another during which thoughts, memories crowd.
I'm glad you enjoyed this shot. Thank you very much for the compliments and for your beautiful words
A great greeting :-P

Spectacular landscape and an attached message that well remembers the pain of detachment from our birthplaces.
hello Alexander
