Vi ricordate il “Gatto dl caffè” ? Lei è Gennina, così la chiamano affettuosamente i suoi amici, lei è la “mamma” del gattino che avete conosciuto. Sapete, in parte come l'ho conosciuta, vi ho raccontato delle mie passeggiate nel piccolo borgo. Ci eravamo dati appuntamento nella sua casa, quel giorno ero emozionato, anche un pò preoccupato, avevo il timore di essere invadente e per farmi perdonare le ho portato un piccolo dono, dei dolcetti deliziosi che ho scelto con cura, senza sapere però che non poteva mangiarli. Lei gentile mi ha detto di non preoccuparmi li avrebbe dati alle sue amiche con cui si scambiano tutto quello che hanno. E' una persona dolcissima, con tanta voglia di vivere, aperta al mondo e alle persone, sorridente e malinconica capace ancora di avere fiducia e di aprirti le porte della sua casa. Così finalmente abbiamo parlato della vita, vive da sola con i suoi gattini, ha preso le foto del suo passato e me ne ha raccontato. Ha perso il marito da un pò di anni, malato lo ha accudito fino alla fine con amore. Per salire una piccola scaletta a chiocciola che porta nel piano superiore della sua casa lo aiutava sostenendolo con le sue spalle sotto di lui. Il suo racconto mi ha commosso, tenera piccola e dolce donna.
