Even if the friends Annalisa and Eugenio had described me very well to what show I would have witnessed, I arrived on the spot technically unprepared to create an image like the one I presented to you and I could only realize it using the GoPro that, even if it generates a file of all respect, certainly does not reach the quality of a file generated by a digital SLR;
Now that I am given to know "how to turn the smoke", account to repeat the experience next spring/summer and repeating the result with a reflex;
The risk is to flood it, but I think very few of us naturalist photographers have all the wheels in place ;-)

i consensi ricevuti sono andati al di là di ogni più rosea aspettativa;
anche se gli amici Annalisa ed Eugenio mi avevano descritto molto bene a che spettacolo avrei assistito, sono arrivato sul posto tecnicamente impreparato per realizzare un'immagine come quella che vi ho presentato ed ho potuto realizzarla solamente utilizzando la GoPro che, anche se genera un file di tutto rispetto, non raggiuge certo la qualità di un file generato da una reflex digitale;
ora che mi è dato sapere "come gira il fumo", conto di ripetere l'esperienza la prossima primavera/estate e bissare il risultato con una reflex;
il rischio è quello di allagarla e/o farle "assaggiare" il becco di una sula, ma credo che ben pochi di noi fotografi naturalisti abbiano tutte le rotelle a posto
