L' Horseshoe Bend ( curva a ferro di cavallo ) è un meandro del fiume Colorado situato a poche miglia da Page in Arizona , a valle della diga del Glen Canyon e del lago Powell . L' Horseshoe bend è profondo circa 300 metri ( la foto non ne restituisce assolutamente la grandiosità ) ed è possibile ammirarlo dall'alto dopo una camminata sul sentiero che parte dalla U.S. Route 89 ; si tratta di uno scenario naturale davvero solenne ed emozionante . In questa inquadratura relativamente stretta , ho scelto di escludere il cielo per ridurre la velatura ed il flare dovuti alla situazione di completo controluce . #Fiumi #Rocce #Geomorfologia #AmericanDream .
