La giassàra del Modesto....Monti Lessini. Lessinia...il sentiero dei Cimbri.. verso la stalla e la giassàra del Modesto. Modesto Paggi era un contadino, ma anche un intagliatore di lastre e un costruttore. Era nato nel 1843 e visse sempre a Rovere' Veronese. C'è una stalla poco lontana dal paese che porta il suo nome. Tutti gli abitanti del luogo sanno dov'è la stalla del Modesto, quasi il Modesto fosse ancora in vita. Ciò che si trova però non è una semplice costruzione, ma un vero e raro capolavoro di maestria architettonica. Si tratta di un piccolo edificio rurale con annessa una ghiacciaia, costruiti tra la fine dell'ottocento e i primi del novecento.
