Foto simili a questa sono state già postate su questo sito decine e decine di volte, ma permettete anche a me di inviarvi la mia cartolina da questo splendido lago con, sullo sfondo, il Latemar che vi si rispecchia. Il Lago di Carezza (in tedesco Karersee) si trova in Alto Adige a pochi chilometri dal passo Costalunga ad una quota di 1.534 m. slm. Il lago è noto per la leggenda della bellissima Ondina, ninfa che ne abitava le acque. Lo stregone del Latemar se ne era innamorato e tentò più volte di rapirla. Un giorno, consigliato dalla Stria del Majarè, fece apparire sopra il Lago di Carezza un bellissimo arcobaleno allo scopo di attrarre la ninfa. Quando quest'ultima uscì dalle acque vide lo stregone e fuggì spaventata. Allora il mago, preso da gran furore, prese l'arcobaleno e lo gettò in mille pezzi nel lago. Da quel giorno nelle acque del lago di Carezza si rispecchiano tutti i colori dell'iride. Una statua in bronzo raffigurante Ondina è stata posta nel lago. Scatto effettuato nel mese di Luglio 2018.
